    2000 Posts

As I mentioned a little while ago, in order to run this site with some actual posts in the database, I've been populating a special forum with BBC News RSS feeds.

the aim here is to have the site running with more than just a "blank" database, like many demo sites, to see how it performs. Currently - great!

I accept that's not a 100% real world situation but it's as close as I can realistically get.

2000 posts isn't a huge amount in the grand scheme of things, but it's far better than the usual demo sites with about 4 posts on them.

I'll keep letting the RSS posts mount up so that we do at least have a bit of a database to test things on.

I'm not interested in defending anything, I did used to attempt to correct the utter lies told by the same old group of people, but in the end I got fed up with how all the remaining "admin" sites are run, and so quit the lot of them.

I'm interested in helping people, not engaging in pathetic drama on biased admin sites.

                Don't be so silly Gary.

This site was only created in response to people asking to see the forthcoming versions of the software in action...such versions are not always deployed to vbulletin.com and even when they are, often new features or changes are not enabled so people cannot see them. Also, arguably vbulletin.com is not a great example of vB5 because of the bespoke caching and suchlike that goes on.

This site has the ability to be far more flexible, and indeed I deliberately turned off caching so that non-registered members could see the real world speed, not the cached speed.

It's not an attempt to sell vBulletin 5, it's an attempt to show it as it actually, really is...good or bad...not how a bunch of very loud people with a grudge against the company like to portray it as.

It's STILL THERE and kept up to date as this one is, however it is just on the same setup as the support forums and again it's not the most ideal environment.

This site is designed to showcase vBulletin 5 *exactly as it really is*...as if a real person had set up a real forum.

5.1.4 has numerous new three column page layouts available. Where can you see those on any official site? But you can see one of them HERE.
